三年级小学生小米有许多烦恼和愿望，他独自对着星空许下心愿，被偶然路过的流星型宇宙人阿呦听到。阿呦拥有在各个星球之间瞬间穿梭的能力，可以帮助别人实现不同的愿望。小米把阿呦当作伙伴带回自己的家。从此，三年级小学生小米的生活开始变得不再平凡，阿呦通过自己的超能力，穿梭在宇宙之间，不断帮助小米实现各种小小心愿。。伦敦运河船屋爱巢里，年轻女同志的生活无拘无束，但一个生小孩的念头，使得平稳生活开始摇摆。极富巧思的场景、特殊的三角关系、波西米亚式的人物和生活，让日常里的冲突更显张力。流动的运河象征自由，本片藉此反思家庭的定义，也揭示爱侣如何以理解和扶持，相伴通过迷惘长河，继续前行。。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
