徐楠出身农村，被退役乒乓世界冠军叶宁东发掘天赋收为徒弟。学成后走出农村的他，遭城里队友打压嘲讽，被认为不配打乒乓。母亲劝其放弃读书，徐楠却迎难而上，以球拍为刃，在质疑中奋力拼搏，誓要打出属于自己的通天之路。。Set in the summer of 1852 in the village of Kengis, Northern Sweden, the series follows the young Sami boy-Jussi and his mentor, the newly appointed revivalist Pastor, as they investigate multiple-killings of young girls。
