佐村薰炭（田村由香里 配音）是一位平凡的公司职员，每日过着朝九晚五的规律生活，日子平静又安宁。可是，这样一个普通的女人，他的老公十一（铃村健一 配音）却是个彻头彻尾的“宅男”。对漫画、动画和网络极为熟悉和热衷的十一，配上对此一窍不通但温柔的包容着老公的佐村薰炭，会有怎样有趣的故事发生在这对夫妻之间呢？ 看似十分年轻但早已经嫁为人妻的树濑理乃（钉宫理惠 配音）、理乃的老公，职业拳击手树濑旺（坂井俊文 配音）、沉着冷静的小镇医生田中（新谷良子 配音）、田中的老公山田（外崎大辅 配音），在佐村薰炭和十一的周围，围绕着的是性格各异但都同样善良有趣的好友们。。故事发生在遥远的2028年，机器人早已经普及走进了千家万户，在使用期限结束后，它们便会被回收销毁。机器人们当然不愿意面对被销毁的命运，因此政府组建了MP部队，专门追捕和破坏逃跑叛乱的机器人，R（刘智泰 饰）便是部队中的一员。 一次偶然中，R遇见了名为丽娅（徐琳 饰）的舞女机器人，丽娅的美丽和善良深深吸引了R的注意，令他坠入了情网。然而，丽娅的生命只剩下十天了，不忍看到爱人就此逝去，R找到了克洛伊博士（郑恩杓 饰）。博士告诉R，想要延续丽娅的生命，只有找到一个人类女孩，将丽娅的芯片植入她的体内。很快，一个名为诗馨（李在银 饰）的女孩便成为了R的目标。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
