电影《画皮》改编自经典IP《聊斋志异》，在保留了原著精髓的大前提下，对故事内容进行更好的解读与重构。讲述了书生王怀卿的妻子阿若因重疾长久卧床，为了给妻子治病，王怀卿出门卖画筹药费。不曾想，被雀妖发现其是纯阳真元之身。在与百灵的缠斗中，狐妖小容救下王怀卿，为躲避百灵的追击，王怀卿将小容带回家中，随着家中“第三者”的出现，王怀卿、阿若、小容陷入了一场三角情感迷局，一段凄美的人“妖”虐恋拉开序幕。。Alice and Niklas are happy, they lack nothing - but a child.
